Advanced Acting Diploma Program

The school's students will be exposed to the entire scope of acting in live and on-camera performances involving the entire film making process from script development, lighting, camera, sound, location scouting and filming, to post production and editing. As part of their unique behind the camera training, students will participate in various crew positions vital to the production process such as locations manager, best boy, gaffer etc. Exercising their newly acquired skill, the class will produce a full length feature film under the direction and guidance of a professional director, and director of photography with the potential to be marketed through film festivals and/or distributors.

This program is for actors with previous experience or education. They must have a diploma or equivalent training/experience to meet prerequisite requirements, it is designed for students seeking employment in film; who want to improve their on-camera presence, upgrade or improve their acting style and production skills, gain experience and exposure to the entire film production process and develop a portfolio or demo or film work. Ten to twelve weeks are devoted to developing and preparing the script; through discussion and improvisation; moving to a final draft/shooting script. This is followed by a four to six week shooting schedule, followed by a four week editing and wrap up schedule then graduation, demo and presentation.
