Pursuing a beauty career in a year was Krystynn Hernandez’s plan before she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Kiomi. In hopes of going back to school and finding a great Esthetics School in Vancouver or a makeup school in Vancouver, she managed to find both at New Image. Her calling to train as a Make-up Artist and her aspirations to become an Esthetician would be realized when she enrolled into the Professional Makeup Artistry Diploma Program and Spa Technician Diploma Program here at NEWIMAGE.
Now employed at Tranquility Spa in Yaletown, Krystynn is a full-time Esthetician performing services that she learned from NEWIMAGE. She has achieved her dream of establishing a career and hopefully being very successful at it. She selected NEWIMAGE because the schedules of the programs were accommodating to her work schedule while giving her time with her daughter. She was referred by a close friend who had nothing but praise for the school and the faculty. Her friend who was enrolled in the esthetics training program graduated with honors.

One of her most valuable lessons at the school was knowing that when she worked hard, it would payoff as the school would work hard for her to ensure she was given every opportunity to learn and that she was employed shortly after if not before graduating.
When registering for her program, she began apprehensively as she was very unfamiliar with the process. With Charie’s help she was led through the process explaining each step of the way ensuring a smooth registration and student loan application.
Her instructors were very inspirational giving her the tools she needed to excel in her new career. What is one piece of advice you would like to share with New students and anyone thinking about coming to newimage?
Just to come in and see for yourselves; come and sit in one of the classes (yes, Charie lets you do that). This school offers so much: lots of hands on training, job placement, amazing staff, unforgettable friendships, courses flexible to your schedule and of course a great education.
