NEW IMAGE COLLEGE’S ACTING DEPARTMENT HEAD STARS WITH RICHARD HARMON AKA MURPHY FROM “THE 100”

New Image College’s acting department head Philip Granger stars in “Crypto”. The film is set in the remote wilderness of Haida Gwaii. A young man (Richard Harmon) grieving a loss finds work at a fishing lodge run by a hermit (Philip Granger). Together they uncover their past secrets.

The story in a strange way is about love and loss, and how denial can hinder your future. It is a beautiful, and compelling tour de force film that relies heavily on acting.

The director Jon Silverberg wrote eight drafts of the script before going to camera and knew exactly the story he wanted to tell. With a clear vision from the director, the stunning cinematography of Juan Andres Hodgson, and rich topography of British Columbia’s landscape this is sure to be a festival hit.

Congratulations Philip Granger! We’re so lucky to have such amazing faculty at New Image College!
