Lead: 125/day Supporting: no compensation but great food, pro crew.
A young father falls into a parallel world where a few seconds is the difference between a normal life and a nightmare.
There are two stories here: one in which Rhett hugs his wife goodbye and one in which he doesn’t. The difference of those few seconds of affection is the exact amount of time that separates these parallel worlds and despite the minor discrepancy, the result is a nightmare for the latter man….
…. Rhett’s son has died in a car accident, his nephew is in a coma, and now a tree falls onto the road. In one parallel world, it falls behind Rhett, in the other, it blocks his path. The two worlds converge at this exact moment and the chaos of two Rhett’s interacting with his wife Claire and extended family are almost too much for the family to bear.
Project Length: Short Film (~13 min)
Project Format: RED Epic, 2.35 HD
Supporting. 10-19. Small and thin for his age, and currently in a coma. Performance is primarily unconscious but is important nonetheless.
Supporting. The extended family of Uncle Mann, Aunt Marie-Ann, and Rhett. They’re dressed to impress and having a quaint time.
(*RHETT AND MARIE-ANN NOTES)
Please read the storyline to appreciate the dual character performances. Only these two characters are seen in both worlds, therefore it is paramount the actors demonstrate a capability to play two personas: one in which their son’s are alive and well, and one in which fate has been extremely hard on them.
