As the next Spa Attendant our Guests will enjoy the professional and personalized spa experience you offer. The expertise and attention to detail you provide will ensure our guests have a memory to share.
Hotel Overview:
At the ocean’s edge- a modern oasis, the Fairmont Pacific Rim is the most remarkable address in the city with its breathtaking harbour views, luxurious accommodation, rave-worthy cuisine and warm hospitality.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service by demonstrating Fairmont Service Essentials and applying 5 Star Service Standards at all times
  • Interact and engage with guests to ensure utmost comfort and convenience
  • Provide individualized attention, care, and concern to anticipate guest needs intuitively
  • Provide support and assistance to the Spa Team as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of all types of equipment, common areas, and service areas.
  • Ensure the spa-fitness facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness).
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all fitness and pool services and procedures
  • Ensure Guest satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the first priority in the spa, fitness, and pool facilities.
  • Bus and stock all service area items including towels, water, ice, beverages, magazines, newspapers, clean headsets.
  • Maintain smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks and reporting work orders promptly.
  • Actively participate in the Fairmont Pacific Rim’s environmental program and department specific initiatives in working towards sustainable operations.
  • To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Complies with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts policies, procedures and code of ethics.
  • Performs any and all other tasks which are assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A proven interest in Fitness and Wellness.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • A passion for Guest Service and a skill for anticipating guest needs.
  • Strong attention to details with understanding of luxury elements
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Experience in customer service an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to): 
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
