PROJECT SYNOPSIS

A distressed wife and her teenage daughter show up in a backwoods small town looking for her geologist husband who had been working in the area before he went missing. There might be no leaving this place if too many secrets are uncovered.

Additional Comments:

Inbreds is the first of a series of short films entitled Strange Tales; an edgy anthology of mystery and suspense. It’s a different kind of Twilight Zone for a modern audience. From comedy to bone-chilling terror or science fiction, each mini-movie stands on its own. In some cases, episodes unfold into larger arcs that only intensify with each new chapter. No setting, whether it be on land, sea, in the air or hurled deep into the darkest reaches of space is off limits.

Fueled by human curiosity and united with a passion for the unknown and the fantastic, this series is paved with twists and turns that thrust us into the unexpected. Strange Tales is a unique collection of stories that draws on a variety of filmmaking styles, absorbing characters and compelling musical scores from a widening array of artists.

There are tales of hope that will inspire, and tales of warning and woe. Each is designed to entice the viewer to wonder… “What if?” It’s thrilling, quirky, sublime and macabre, always delivering thoughtful and compelling narratives that not only entertain but dare viewers to challenge assumptions and step into the universe where nothing is as it seems.
