Description of Play: “The Past, like a ghost, dwells within us. Will we keep it alive or lay it to rest?” A story about mothers and daughters on the road of life. A journey of love, loss, family secrets and therapy—lots of therapy! It’s been 15 years since the tragic and untimely death of Vivian’s sister Kate at the age of 17. Both Vivian and their mother Reagan are deeply haunted by these memories. Vivian is determined to move forward with the help of her therapist but Reagan, a faded Hollywood starlet, clings to the past and spends her days at Willows Terrace Rehab, trying to recapture her youth and block the pain with little blue pills. Ultimately Reagan and Vivian must face the truth and each other. Will they find the peace they are searching for? The answer lies on the road between them.
