Jill Morrison is a 2001 graduate of the University of Windsor's B.F.A Honours Acting program. This intensive training also began her passionate work as a coach. A deep love for acting, Jill loves to teach what she knows.
Since the wonderful years of theatre school, she has worked professionally in theatre, film and television. Known for her work in Mean Girls, Deck the Halls, Destination Infestation, A Valentine Carol, Intelligence, The 4400, Crimes of Fashion, The L word.... Upcoming work include the film 2012, Toothfairy, and Triple Dog. Years of study and professional auditions has given Jill a strong work ethic and committment to her craft. Something she likes to pass on to her students.
She has performed in a number of Shakespearan productions, and other theatre productions across Canada. Most memorably, workshopping and creating a character in an award winning play, The Secret of Gabi's dresser. This amazing show has been reprised four times.
She began her years in sketch comedy when she was 15. Beginning with many Murder mysteries to being in a number of successful Improvisation groups. This is a large part of her teaching. A very exciting way to learn as a young actor.
Acting is an act we begin doing when we are very young, pretending. And Jill loves that this is her job!
